Every Castle Arts set includes a tutorial guiding you through the colors and techniques used to create the image on the packaging - in the case of the 72 Color Pencil Zipper, a 5-step tutorial showing you how to draw and color a Gryphon.

The 28-page Guide Booklet is chock-full of tips, tricks and techniques for knowing your tools and assisting your creative quest to transfer what you see in your mind onto paper. It teaches you how to take care of your pencils, from sharpening methods to holding techniques for different styles and effects. The guide also explains the color pencil range, light and form, pencil pressures and strokes, as well as blending, layering and texturing techniques.
